Rosemary V Hernandez died on January 3, 2015 in Houston Tx at the age of 60, after a long and fearless battle with lung cancer and then brain cancer and in the end, spinal cancer. She was surrounded by family at home and passed with grace and peace. Rosemary was born in Victoria Tx on 08-22-1954 .She has now joined her Father, Joe Hernandez and two brothers Jose Hernandez and David V Hernandez. She is survived by her mother, Ann V Hernandez and her sister, Susie Longoria, her four sons and daughter, Lisa Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Erick Ramirez, Daniel Medrano and Patrick Medrano and daughter-in-law, Katy Anderson. Rosemary is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Tomorro Rose Medrano, D'Kaylynn Gomez, Alissa Gahardro and Cheyanne Olguin. Rosemary Hernandez is also survived by her loving partner of 15 beautiful years, Rosario Alvarado (Momma Rosa). Our mother had many lives in her lifetime, but it was the last 15 years that she was the happiest. Thanks to Momma Rosa, she found her happiness and love where the ocean meets the sky and the fish are always biting. Her wish was to be cremated with her ashes being released into the ocean where she found so much happiness and peace. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday January 24, 2015 Rockport Beach & Pavilions (210 Seabreeze Drive Rockport, TX, 78382) from 12:00-9PM. She will always and forever be remembered with a smile and eyes that spoke more than words can say. The world will be a little less colorful without her and the sound of her infectious laughter and the heavens will be even brighter now. - God Speed Mama Rose, you are forever loved.
